Commercial technical adviser for arable farming

As a Crop Advisor in Arable Farming, you will be responsible for advising arable farmers and contractors in areas such as crop protection and fertilisation. You provide clients with product information and cultivation guidance.

What you will do

You maintain relationships with customers through company visits, (spray licence) meetings, demonstrations, open days and trade fairs. Moreover, you expand the customer base by establishing new contacts. We organise meetings for customers, where you give presentations on the growing season and other current affairs. Furthermore, you follow market developments and consult with colleagues to share knowledge and experiences.
In Hulst, you will be part of a team of six arable and two fruit cultivation consultants. Work is seasonal and therefore varies in content and busyness.

What we expect from you

Work experience in the agricultural sector.
A completed MBO or Bachelor education in a discipline relevant to this position with Bachelor
working and thinking level.
Knowledge of the arable sector especially crop protection and fertilisation.
Good communication and social skills
Customer-oriented, committed and persuasive.
You can work well independently and as part of a team.
Good command of the Dutch language, orally and in writing
